Hi Everyone! I hope the Holiday season is going well for you. It’s always such a crazy time of the year. I secretly love it! Now that Sienna is getting older and understands the concept of things more, it is nice to be able to teach her about every Holiday. I love seeing her face light up when we walk into a store and she says “It’s Christmas!” Or sings Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! It melts my heart!
To kick off our Holiday spirit, we went to ride on another “sleigh ride” in the shopping center and snuggle up together. The gentlemen who were driving the sleigh were so nice and kind. They shared so many stories, Christmas riddles, and let Sienna pet the horses! One of the horses, Sir Thomas, actually has delivered the Christmas Tree to the White House a few times. It was one of those perfect nights I will cherish forever!
Sienna received this adorable outfit for her birthday from her aunt and cousin. (I have a special place in my heart for Houndstooth! Every time I see it I think of the day I married my husband, where I had my dress under a long Houndstooth coat to keep warm.) When she got this as a present, I couldn’t wait for the perfect moment to put it on her! And I had just recently ordered this vest/scarf for myself, so I knew I wanted it pair it together.

Okay, I loved this. I’m always looking for that flowy vest that I can throw right over a long sleeve shirt or sweater to dress up my outfit. When I got it in the mail, I was not so sure I was going to like it on. It doesn’t look like it has much shape to it, but once you put it on, it does. I love the way it drapes down!
Hope you have a wonderful week! It’s back to Christmas shopping for me! Luckily, Sienna is the easiest to shop for. Actually, all of her gifts are already wrapped and hidden. It’s always guessing what my husband wants or trying to think of good ideas for my parents, in laws, and our Secret Santa exchange. Usually, I am done shopping by now… but for some reason this year, I’m slacking. Luckily.. I still have a couple weeks to figure it out!
