Hi Everyone! It’s still so beautiful here in late October, we are still enjoying the warm fall weather. It’s a time of the year where Sienna and I share birthdays less than two weeks apart. I always try to tell myself around this time of the year to “Stop and Smell the Roses!” Life goes by so quick and before you know it, another year has passed, another year older, and another year blessed. My birthday is always a reflection of how I spent the past year of my life… what I achieved, enjoyed, and even failed at.
My goal for this year is to start living more “unplugged” at night. I am a stay at home Mom, that works during a nap time or late in the evening when everyone is off to bed. So, I don’t get much “plugged in” time during the day being so busy with an almost two year old. Recently, my husband and I had a conversation about how our parents didn’t have the distractions we face today as parents. This quote might be dated, but I heard once; “If you feel like you don’t have enough time, then stop watching TV.” Maybe it was the generational thing back then, but I feel like it is true still today (except replace TV with every other electronic on the market). She is growing up so fast and I just do not want to miss any of it with my face down in a phone.
Anyways, back to fashion, enough about my goals, hopes, and dreams. Haha! I feel like I say this everytime, but I just loved this outfit paired together. Her jean jacket just melts my heart and when I picked this shirt out for me, I wasn’t so sure if I was going to like it on. But seeing them together… it was instant love! Hope you like it too!
Review of Mommy & Me
Material: Above Average. I actually was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this. It was comfortable enough for me to take her to the playground and push her on the swings without any issues or arm restrictions.
Fit: True to Size. I ordered the shirt in a Small and I thought it fit perfectly.
Length: Normal Length. I would like this to be a tad bit longer, but it wasn’t short by any means. I have a longer torso and short legs so it hit me right at the top waistline of my jeans.
Overall: Honestly, I love this shirt. It’s one of the shirts that I wear even when I’m not putting Sienna in her jean jacket. I just felt so chic in this outfit and it was a really affordable price.
Mini Me Jacket
Material: Above Average. This is a nice thick jean jacket. It is soft to the touch and she ran all around the playground in it. The embroidery work on it is just beautiful.
Fit: Runs Large. I knew going into the purchase I wanted to order her a size down in this, so I did. It still was a little big but I appreciate the fact she has room to grow for when the Spring comes so I can get two seasons out of it.
Overall: Again, I loved this for her! We took a couple pictures of just her at the playground because I thought she looked so adorable in this. The colors and embroidery are just beautiful and it is probably my favorite jacket of hers. A denim jacket is one of my all time favorites, so no surprise there that it’s my favorite. But this one, is just unique and you don’t see it everywhere!
