Hi Everyone! It’s been a while since I have posted anything. We have been so busy! Finally, the Holiday season has come to an end, we get to relax a little bit and get back to our normal schedules, which I’m always anxious to do. I love organization and set schedules!
I had to share these outfits we wore the other day at the park. As always, Sienna & I have fun with this. When she gets that huge smile on her face and says “Just Like Mommy” it melts my heart! When I look back at pictures of Sienna when she was a baby, I have so many of Sienna and my husband. And I noticed, there wasn’t very many of me and her. I’m the typical “I don’t want a picture person” but this is fun for us and I get to look back at these and remember the day we had together.
We live in an area where the equestrian lifestyle is in full effect! I like to take inspiration for fashion from my surrounding areas. Not that this is anything crazy or out of the ordinary, actually it’s pretty BASIC! But, it feels like home to me. Floppy hats, jeans, riding boots, and a comfy sweater! We had beautiful weather this weekend and I really needed to get some fresh air…. so a day at the park was perfect! We had so much fun running around, playing tag, laughing, and just enjoying the time together as a family!

So…..I’m not really a “turtleneck” type of girl, but I loved this “Mock Neck” sweater. It is a lot more comfortable than a typical turtleneck that folds down and I like the style of it better. A little more fashionable for the Mom!
My Boots: Tory Burch Adeline Boot
In one of my previous posts I talked about the items I will “splurge” on because they are more of an investment. These Tory Burch boots are definitely an example of that. I will save money on other items and buy quality when it comes to shoes….because they will last you a lot longer than clothing that goes in and out of style. I have been wearing riding boots for at least 6 years now, so I know I can get my use out of them. Plus, I got them during the Nordstrom sale, so I was able to save a little bit of money. Note: These boots are actually sold out 🙁 But, I love them! So, I linked them above if they ever come back in stock!
My Floppy Hat: Honestly, it’s so old and I have like 6 floppy hats in all different colors. I’m a hat person! I couldn’t tell you where I got this one because I have had it for at least 10 years now! But, there a few on Amazon to check out.
Sienna’s Turtleneck: OUYAJI Baby boys girls Long sleeves high collar Twist sweater Keep warm white US Size 2T
Sienna’s turtleneck was a perfect compliment to my sweater. I had this outfit in mind for myself, but I knew she had a floppy hat and brown boots, so I went to see if I could find a similar turtleneck for her. It fit great and she has a little growing room! It’s actually pretty thick and she didn’t complain at all of it being “itchy” all day.
She has had these since last summer and I will say that these were a great buy for her. She loves sunglasses!!! And after all my years spent working at a high end sunglass retailer, Aviators have always been my favorite! And this pair is adorable for the little ones! They even came with a little case, which we keep them in the car. Haha, she always says “It’s so sunny” in the car, so we have them on hand for those days.
Sienna’s Floppy Hat: Dealzip Inc Girls Floppy Hat, Vintage Kids Wide Brim Fedora Cap
I can’t get enough of this hat! It is still a little big on her but she loves it!!! My little fashionista!
And even though this picture isn’t the best quality… It is my absolute favorite! Teach those little ones to chase after their dreams, letting them know you are only one step right behind them! Whether, it will be to pick her up when she falls or to be the first to celebrate her success! I always want and hope to be right there, one step behind!
